If inflammatory rhetoric justifies organizing a mob to shut down a political speech, how about Obama?

Let’s apply the Trump Standard of rhetoric fostering violence to Obama

By Thomas Lifson

Sanctimonious voices in the media, and among Democrats and some Republicans (shame on you: Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio) declare that Donald Trump fostered a climate of violence that justifies left wing groups organizing, printing up signs, and violently disrupting his rallies.
This is shameful, and leads to a political state where the forcible suppression of a political candidate by mob violence is justified by a political establishment afraid of the policies he advocates.
If inflammatory rhetoric justifies organizing a mob to shut down a political speech, how about Obama?
On June 14, 2008, the Wall Street Journal published this:
Mobster wisdom tells us never to bring a knife to a gun fight. But what does political wisdom say about bringing a gun to a knife fight?
That’s exactly what Barack Obama said he would do to counter Republican attacks “If they bring a knife to the fight, we bring a gun,” Obama said at a Philadelphia fundraiser Friday night. “Because from what I understand folks in Philly like a good brawl. I’ve seen Eagles fans.”
The comment drew some laughs and applause. But it also struck a chord with his Republican rival. John McCain’s campaign immediately accused the Democratic candidate of playing the politics of fear. They also mentioned that Obama said he would use a gun that would be illegal under Obama’s plans to cut down on illegal firearms.
“Barack Obama’s call for ‘new politics’ is officially over. In just 24 hours, Barack Obama attacked one of America’s pioneering women CEOs, rejected a series of joint bipartisan town halls, and said that if there’s a political knife fight, he’d bring a gun,” McCain campaign spokesman Tucker Bounds said in a statement.
Does anyone remember the hysteria blaming Sarah Palin for the shooting of Gabby Giffords because a Palin website used crosshairs to mark targeted congressional districts, including Giffords’s seat? And Obama urges his supporters to carry guns. Yes, it was metaphorical, but so were the crosshairs.
As I mentioned yesterday, violent imagery is no stranger to the Obama faction:
…doesn’t President Obama’s rhetoric about “get in their face” and White House advice to “punch back twice as hard” justify disrupting Obama’s public events?

Days After Secret Meeting Among Tech Billionaires & Political Ops, Trump Campaign Attacked On All Sides

Just four days after both Republican and Democrat party operatives met with some of the most powerful tech giants in the world to discuss ways in which to destroy the Donald Trump campaign, the New York billionaire is taking incoming from all sides including a second-tier reporter claiming she was grabbed by Trump’s campaign manager following a press conference, a participant at a Trump rally was filmed punching a (much larger and younger) black protester, and now today, a swarm of protesters in Chicago led to a Trump campaign rally being cancelled for security reasons.
Is it all just a remarkable coincidence?

ABOVE: When Trump supporters left the venue, they found themselves being surrounded by a growing mob outside. Some pushing and shoving predictably ensued – and the media breathlessly exclaimed how it was the result of Donald Trump’s campaign rhetoric.
Within minutes, this same mob began to mobilize against Chicago police as well and as of this writing, riots are now being deemed a real threat to the city.
Now to the earlier secret meeting report. Check out this excerpt from four days earlier:
“Check out this partial list of attendees to the closed-door, no press allowed meetup:
“Check out this partial list of attendees to the closed-door, no press allowed meetup:
Apple CEO Tim Cook, Google founder Larry Page, Facebook investor, Sean Parker,  Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.), political guru Karl Rove, House Speaker Paul Ryan, GOP billionaire donor Philip Anschutz, and Democratic Rep. John Delaney.

Topic #1 according to various reports, is the destruction of the Donald Trump campaign.”
This week some two thousand of the world’s most notable economic, political, and media leaders are meeting within the sprawling winter resort sanctuary of Davos, Switzerland. The primary topic on the mouths of those who are attending isn’t Middle East unrest, China’s fiscal challenges, falling oil prices, or even a plummeting U.S. stock market, but rather one Donald J. Trump.

These men and women whose far-reaching influence and wealth depends so much upon a world that runs at their discretion, see Donald Trump as the greatest potential disruption to the current global dynamic they have worked so diligently to maintain.

And they don’t like it – not one bit.

Regardless of whether you support Donald Trump or not, it has become indisputable that the anti-Trump effort is an unprecedented act in the era of modern politics. Of all the GOP candidates currently still in the Republican primary race, only Trump causes such alarm among the established powers both inside and outside of Washington D.C.

The above report mirrors a much earlier D.C. Whisper exclusive which, at the time, many readers chose to dismiss. Given the most recent developments in Sea Island, those initially dismissive readers would do well to learn that if you want the political news before it’s news, D.C. Whispers is a must-have source to do so.

And if you start to see an even greater uptick in anti-Trump stories in your newsfeed, the above information is likely the reason why.
The mob in Chicago was a mobilized event. No further evidence of that fact is needed than this photo of one of its creators, domestic terrorist, and longtime Barack Obama mentor (and alleged co-author of Mr. Obama’s bestselling autobiography) Bill Ayers:

Ayers is among the most connected of all Chicago mob operatives. The people who showed up to halt the Trump rally were put on alert via a coordinated social media campaign that likely involved Ayers and some of the names from the secret meeting report days earlier.
In related news, Michelle Fields, the woman who has now filed charges against Trump campaign manager Corey Lewandowski, is being told by her own employer, Breitbart News, that she is suffering from a case of mistaken identity:
“New video of Donald Trump’s press conference Tuesday evening shows that the Washington Post’s account of an altercation involving Breitbart News reporter Michelle Fields could not possibly have happened as Ben Terris reported.”
Brietbart appears to implicate a Secret Service agent in the alleged grabbing of Michelle Fields’ arm. (She was standing in an area that had already been cleared by Secret Service and approached Donald Trump in a somewhat aggressive manner.)
So, in essence, Michelle Field’s own boss is saying she has her own story wrong.
As for the 78-year old gentleman who did not take kindly to a young black man shouting obscenities holding up his middle fingers at Trump supporters while being escorted from the rally, he will be charged as he should. But of the hundreds of thousands of people who have attended multiple Donald Trump rallies, this is a singular event, and far from the norm, and yet, the media is now attacking Mr. Trump for his “tone” somehow being responsible for the actions of an elderly man taking offense at the obscenity-laced tirade of a much younger man who came to the event for the sole purpose of creating conflict.
Video of that altercation follows:

How remarkable to have such a coordinated theme in opposition to Donald Trump mere days after some of the most powerful figures in politics and the media met to discuss that very topic.

Pat Robertson Just Said 4 Words To Trump’s Face That Has Shocked Many Christians

Pat Robertson Just Said 4 Words To Trump’s Face That Has Shocked Many Christians

"You inspire us all," Robertson told the real estate mogul, who has secured the endorsement of Liberty University President Jerry Falwell Jr., and is bringing in evangelical voters to his camp.

Christian media leader Pat Robertson, who 28 years ago ran for the White House in his bid to reform America, had a message Wednesday for the 2016 Republican presidential candidate whose campaign has set political fires ablaze across America. “You inspire us all,” Robertson told Donald Trump during an appearance at Regent University in Virginia.

During his appearance, Trump cited his book “The Art of the Deal,” as a great book, but told his Christian audience that the greatest book is the Bible. “Kerry did not read the Art of the Deal. Probably not the Bible, either,” Trump said during a conversation about Secretary of State John Kerry.

Robertson asked Trump what criteria he would use in nominating a successor for Justice Antonin Scalia.

“Pro-life,” Trump replied. “We want– It starts with that, starts with it.  A very conservative, a very, very smart, I mean like Judge (Antonin) Scalia would be a perfect. He was a perfect representative.” “I’ve always said that Justice (Clarence) Thomas doesn’t get enough credit. He is a wonderful man, a wonderful guy and I’ve always said Judge (Samuel) Alito is a terrific guy. So, in that realm is what we’re talking about for me,” Trump said.

Trump also discussed Middle East affairs.

“I didn’t want to go into Iraq; it was one of the worst decisions ever made,” Trump said. “We lost $2 trillion, thousands and thousands of lives — thousands of lives. We have wounded warriors who I love all over the place, and what happens? Iran is now taking over Iraq.” “When you think of how Iran is doing lately, right? Between the Iran deal, we give them $150 billion — we got nothing for it,” he said. “We should have gotten our prisoners back long before we started negotiating… (Secretary John) Kerry – this is the worst negotiator I think I’ve ever seen.”

Trump also took a jab at Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton.

“Boy, did you ever see anybody so nice to the president, though? ‘ ‘Oh, the president is wonderful,’ she says. ‘Oh, the president, he’s great … You know why she’s doing that, right? You know why? I know why. Boy, oh boy, she’s become like a marshmallow.”

Trump said the president should bring government to a consensus on issues and move forward, something President Obama has been unable to do.

“You’re supposed to get the congressmen in, the senators in; you’re supposed to make deals,” he told Robertson. “I deal in politics in other countries ’cause we’re building all over the world. And we have jobs going up all over the world — a lot of jobs. But I have never seen division like you have now.”

“The country is so divided, whether it’s African American, white, congressman, Democrat, Republican. I mean it’s just like we have a whole divided country. I’ve never seen anything like it,” he said. “But we used to see, and I used to be part of Democrats and Republicans having dinners together with their families and their wives, and it was a nice thing. There’d be combat the next day, but there would be — they’d get along — and they’d get things done.”

Sharia Law? Not in Texas, says Irving Mayor Beth Van Duyne: Britain’s first female Sharia law judge on Islamic marriage

beth-van-duyne

(GOP the Daily Dose) – Irving, Texas is a Dallas suburb just west of the big city. Area muslims had started a “voluntary” Sharia court and were seeking sanction from the city. The mayor said NO WAY!

The city council was split 5-4 in a decision March, 2015, to not allow the religious court, but the mayor was emphatic that a foreign system of law to operate is unconstitutional and forbidden by state and federal statute.

The attempt to establish a Sharia court on American soil was stopped here, but it will not be the last and they will continue in their pursuit to undermine the US Constitution.

Mayor Beth Van Duyne said it well: American citizens need to remember that their rights are guaranteed by the Constitution and I believe that no one should subjugate themselves to anything less. ~May. Beth Van Duyne

I think it is a good lesson that with the rise of sharia minded muslims, the rights of individuals disappears. I hope this result is duplicated by every city that they try this in.

Shariah Law? Not in Texas, says Irving Mayor

Judge: "We Can't Ask Muslims Not To Have More Than One Wife"

A Muslim judge has determined that the “government cannot ask Muslims not to have more than one wife”.

Britain’s first female Sharia law judge has issued a bold warning that flies in the face of UK law, stating that the “government cannot ask Muslims not to have more than one wife.” The news comes from a report by the Times newspaper that claims that Britain is experiencing a “surge” in Sharia marriages, as young British Muslims adopt a more hardline religious stance than their parents. The Times reports: “As many as 100,000 couples are living in such marriages, which are not valid under UK law, experts said. Ministers have raised fears that women can be left without the right to a fair share of assets if the relationship ends, while others are forced to return to abusive “husbands”.” A leading Islamic family lawyer warned that the increase in Sharia ceremonies among the 2.7 million-strong Muslim population in Britain was also behind a growth in “secret polygamy”. “Probably a quarter of all couples I see involve polygamy issues,” Aina Khan told The Times. “There has been a huge rise in recent years because people can have a secret nikah [Islamic marriage] and no one will know about it.”
The growth in a parallel marriage system that bypassed the register office was being driven by Muslims aged below 30, who were becoming more religious, she said. Other factors include finding a way around the expectation of no sex before marriage and a fear of British family courts, which presume that assets should be split equally.

‘Muslim Arbitration Tribunals’, more commonly known as Sharia courts, have existed in the United Kingdom since 1996, when the Arbitration Act began to allow for different religious laws to be applied in cases such as divorce. The tribunals are supposed to operate within the confines of UK law, but recent reports suggest that many Muslims are not registering their marriages with the government under UK civil law, instead, they are using nikha ceremonies, which allows for men to have a number of wives, and none of the legal responsibility towards them usually afforded to spouses under the 1949 Marriage Act, Breitbart reported. How long before these same religious demands are brought before courts in the Unites States under the guise of the ‘Religious Freedom Restoration Act of 1993.’ Many will argue that ‘Islam’ and the ‘Koran’ are not a religion, but Barack Hussein Obama has declared otherwise. POLICE STATE'S ALREADY HERE?

Criminals with Badges.

This is a video compilation of incidents of excessive use of force by police.
None of the people in the video who were either executed or attacked were armed, and none of the officers lost their jobs or served any jail time whatsoever. Keep in mind that these are just some of the instances of excessive use of force that have been recorded on video. How many more of these crimes do you think remain undocumented and unreported because they weren't captured on video?

Obama Administration Closes Ocean over Government Shutdown

“We’ve been told to make life as difficult for people as we can. It’s disgusting.”

Just before the weekend, the National Park Service informed charter boat captains in Florida that the Florida Bay was "closed" due to the shutdown. Until government funding is restored, the fishing boats are prohibited from taking anglers into 1,100 square-miles of open ocean. Fishing is also prohibited at Biscayne National Park during the shutdown.

The Park Service will also have rangers on duty to police the ban... of access to an ocean. The government will probably use more personnel and spend more resources to attempt to close the ocean, than it would in its normal course of business.
This is governing by temper-tantrum. It is on par with the government's ham-fisted attempts to close the DC WWII Memorial, an open-air public monument that is normally accessible 24 hours a day. By accessible I mean, you walk up to it. When you have finished reflecting, you then walk away from it.
At least that Memorial is an actual structure, with some kind of perimeter that can be fenced off. Florida Bay is the ocean. How, pray tell, do you "close" 1,100 square miles of ocean? Why would one even need to do so?
Apparently, according to an anonymous Park Service ranger, “We’ve been told to make life as difficult for people as we can. It’s disgusting.”
Centuries ago, King Canute famously failed to command the ocean tide to stop. His display was actually a means to educate his subjects on the limits of royal power. Today, however, our President actually believes he has the power to control the oceans.

Obama Administration Closes Ocean over Government Shutdown:
The government shutdown can be viewed in one of two ways.
On one hand, it’s an extremely embarrassing indicator of how dysfunctional the U.S. government is right now, and it creates a lot of doubt around the world regarding whether the current polarization in D.C. is a temporary situation or a permanent one.
On the other hand, the shutdown reveals that there is a lot of non-essential personnel in the government right now, and if you accept the general premise that debt is something to worry about, then it’s hard to argue with the notion that some of those jobs don’t need to exist at the federal level.
The Obama Administration and Democrats all over the U.S. are very worried about people realizing that second thing.  And because they’re worried about it, they’re doing the same thing they did prior to sequestration: building it up to be the worst thing ever. Unfortunately, when you build something up to be the worst thing ever and it ends up not being as bad as advertised, you become the party that cried wolf. The sequestration had some very noticeable real-world impacts, and the people that were harmed by it will testify to the fact that it was awful, but it didn’t impact a lot of Americans the way Democrats threatened it would.
Despite the fact that the government is shut down, more than 80 percent of federal employees are still working. The Obama Administration and Democrats now have to do a tight rope walk where they try not to hurt the economy too badly, but still make this shutdown painful enough for people to realize that it’s a bad thing, and not just an overstated inconvenience like what sequestration is now perceived to be.
How are they doing this? Early last week it was by shutting websites, national parks and veteran memorials. Late last week, as noted by Breitbart.com, it was by shutting down the ocean.
Breitbart.com reports that the Obama Administration has closed portions of the ocean around Florida, blocking off charter boats that used to take fisherman into thousands of miles of open water. The same order has shut down Biscayne National Park. Per the Miami Herald, security will be on duty to make sure nobody gets in.
Charter guides received a message from the National Park Service this week informing them that they are not permitted to take clients fishing in Florida Bay until the feds get back to work. That means that more than 1,100 square miles of prime fishing is off limits between the southern tip of the mainland to the Keys until further notice.
The closing affects not only fishing guides, but anyone with a license to conduct business in the park, including tour operators and paddling guides — anyone with a Commercial Use Authorization permit, said Dan Kimball, superintendent of Everglades and Dry Tortugas national parks.
Biscayne National Park is also off limits.
Again, it’s not difficult to see what’s going on here. Democrats want to make sure that people understand that the shutdown hurts. Not badly enough that it tanks the economy, but just enough so that it’s noticeable.
Will shutting down the ocean have that effect? We’ll see.
